Merseyside Police say investigations are ongoing in the local area (Google Maps)
POLICE launched an investigation after bones were discovered by a dog walker in Bebington.
Merseyside Police were called at around 6pm to Storeton Woods yesterday (Wednesday, April 10) following reports that a dog walker had come across bones under a tree in the area.
A forensic examination has now taken place and detectives confirmed that the bones are in fact from an animal.
