FIREFIGHTERS had to attend a fire in a fridge in Northwich on Saturday, April 6 at 10.16am.

The fire happened in London road and one fire engine from Northwich attended with one from Holmes Chapel.

A spokesperson for the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to put out a fire in a fridge.

"They also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke following the fire. The crews were at the scene for about an hour."
