Sara Lord is already planning her next challenge to raise funds for a hospital in memory of her dad after completing a foot-weary five marathon walks in five days.
The mother-of-three from Goostrey raised more than £4,300 towards a bed in the intensive care unit at Macclesfield Hospital where her dad Graham Lenihan died after a five-week battle by staff to save his life.
Graham, a Goostrey parish councillor and a popular member of the village gooseberry show, was 73 when he died after collapsing from Sepsis.
Now, Sara, 49, also a parish councillor, is determined to continue to raise funds for the £10,000 cost of the bed with five triathlons in five days once she has recovered from the 133-mile trek in some of the worst weather of the winter, including Storm Gareth.
In each of the triathlon five days, she will have to do a half-mile sprint swim, five-kilometre run and a 15-mile bike ride.
She was greeted on her final mile by her daughter, Millie, 23, and her cousin, Olivia Birchenough, a presenter on Channel 5's children's Milkshake programme, and the celebrity's mum, June, with a bottle of much welcome champagne to celebrate her successful achievement.
"I was battered by the wind and had blistered and bloodied feet but I was determined to complete the challenge and whatever the weather threw at me," said Sara.
"It was worth every step of the way and there was a lot of laughter and happy memories. My target was originally £1,500 but I have been so overwhelmed with the generosity and support received I can't thank everyone enough.
"I want to keep going until sponsorship reaches the full amount of £10,000 needed to provide an additional bed in the unit. An uncle is already promoting a golf competition for the fund. Having walked my feet off I am certain now I can take the triathlon challenge in my stride once I can organise it."
Sara's most agonising moment was in mid-week when she met the full blast of Storm Gareth and was almost blown off her feet with high winds and torrential rain.
She added: "The wind was at its peak and the route was uphill and I'd no buddies with me. The phone went flat, but I just kept thinking of my dad and the people supporting me and that just kept me going to the end."
Donations can be still made to the fund at Sara's 5 Marathons in 5 days page on JustGiving.com or via Facebook
