ROADWORKS are underway near Winnington Swing Bridge, which will bring a new junction and road shape.
The works, set to last until September 2, got underway on March 4 on the Winnington side of the bridge in Winnington Lane.
Cheshire West and Chester Council's roadworks portal indicates that the works are section 278-funded, meaning they are backed by developers building at the Winnington Urban Village project.
The work will include putting in place a new traffic signal junction, as well as road narrowing and widening up to the swing bridge.
