CHILDREN enjoyed a fun packed two day trip to Petty Pool Outdoor Centre.

Pupils from year 2 at the Grange Community Nursery and Primary School in Winsford took part in all sorts of adventurous activities during an overnight stay.

Youngsters had a go at various challenges including crate stacking, rock climbing and zip wiring before ending the day with hot chocolate before going to bed in cosy, log cabins.

The expert-led activities were specifically selected to focus on team-building and communication skills to build strong bonds between the children.

Pupils also explored forested woodlands, observed fox dens and learnt about methods for keeping trees healthy.

The class had such a good time, they were begging to return the next day!

Executive head teacher, Annette Williams said: "This is yet another example of how we are bringing learning to life here at Grange Community Nursery and Primary School.

"The children had the most amazing time and made memories that will last them a lifetime!

"We were also so proud of the feedback we received from centre staff, who commented on the exemplary behaviour and determination shown by each and every child."
