THE building repairs for Sandiway Library have now been postponed until May this year.
The works were originally scheduled to begin on Monday, March 11.
Dates will be confirmed shortly and there will be alternative arrangements to ensure disruption to services is minimised for customers.
Councillor Louise Gittins, cabinet member for communities and wellbeing, said: “We will ensure residents have minimum disruption to services when the building work is rescheduled.
“We will have temporary arrangements at nearby locations and our usual 24/7 on-line services will also be available.”
Opening hours of all libraries are available online and if required, items can be renewed online or by phone 24 hours a day.
