THE Northwich Rotary Club’s annual Northwich River Festival will return on July 13 and 14.
The weekend event has become a firm favourite, with the River Weaver Dragon Boat Challenge set to return along with the handmade efforts of the ‘Raft the River Race’ and the ‘Ducks on The Dane’.
Mid Cheshire Stand-Up Paddleboarders will also be in attendance, along with the Wirral Community Narrowboat Trust.
On dry land, attractions include the Artisan Market, rides, displays, buskers and street performers.
The festival is organised by Rotary volunteers with the support of Inland Waterways Association, The Canal and River Trust, Barons Quay, Northwich Town Council, The River Weaver Navigation Society, Northwich BID and CWAC.
