RESIDENTS have formed a new Castle and Winnington community group.
Almost 500 people have joined the social media forum since it was launched a month ago.
Founders Joanne Storey, an accounts assistant from Winnington, and Kris Hinde, an electrician from Castle, want to bring the community closer together.
Joanne said: “It is a platform for people to discuss anything, chat, ask questions and share old pictures.
“People can find out about things they might otherwise not get to know about.”
Businesses have also signed up.
“We had 100 members in the first 24 hours,” added Joanne.
“We wanted to give Castle and Winnington a voice.”
