THE top secondary schools in the borough have been revealed based on GCSE results.
The County High School Leftwich topped the table, with the highest ‘Progress 8’ score in west Cheshire.
Meanwhile, Cransley came out on top in the 'Attainment 8' rankings.
Progress 8 measures students’ progress between the end of primary school to the end of secondary school, while Attainment 8 measures the achievement of a student across eight qualifications.
Borough-wide, west Cheshire schools fell just short of the national averages.
