THE owners of a medal dating back to the 1920s are being urged to come forward after it was found lying on a footpath.
Zoe Antrobus was walking from TenPin Warrington in Winwick Quay towards Callands near the A574 when she spotted the medal which is dated 1923.
She said: "It's silver in colour, has a picture on one side and on the other a date, place, stamps and some other writing.
"I'm guessing it's sentimental with being a medal so I am wanting to get it back to its owner."
Anyone who thinks they may have lost this medal should contact the Warrington Guardian office by calling 596457.
