Firefighters tackle kitchen fire on Church Road in Northwich
A KITCHEN fire broke out at a house in Northwich this morning.
Crews were called to Church Road shortly before 6.30am.
Firefighters discovered the fire had spread to basement of the terraced property.
Crews using 10 breathing apparatus tackled the blaze.
Neighbouring properties were checked to make sure the fire hadn't spread.
Two hose reels and safety jets were used to put out the fire.
Firefighters are still at the scene damping down.
