AN urgent appeal is being made for donations of clothing, children’s toys and furniture to help raise funds for patient care at St Luke's Hospice.
One bag of donated goods is worth an average of £19 to the charity.
Steven Holmes, retail operations manager at St Luke’s Hospice, said: “Now Christmas is done and dusted, what better time to have a clear out and help St Luke’s at the same time.
“Our shops are running desperately low on stock, particularly winter clothing and children’s toys, furniture and equipment such as prams, highchairs and cots.
“We need 200 bags per shop per week to replenish our stock so if you can give a couple of items or a full bag, everything will help.
"Please tell your family and friends too and help us to help others throughout 2019."
Donations can be brought into the hospice on Queensway in Winsford or dropped off at any St Luke’s shop.
