A spokesman added: "Our community recycling centres will be open throughout the festive season for any additional waste that you need to dispose of except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day."
The last green bin collection was on December 7.
Green bin collections will start again in March 2019.
If you want to recycle your Christmas tree, volunteers will be collecting trees for recycling in exchange for a donation to St Rocco's.
Last year, the tree collection was fully booked up and the team collected more than 2,100 trees, raising more than £27,000.
