GIFTED crafters are holding an art open day to raise funds for St Luke's Hospice.
Community group Crowton Creatives will be displaying a selection of their work at Crowton Village Hall on Kingsley Road from 10am to 3pm on Friday, November 30.
Founder member Carol Rutter said: "We do different varieties of art, printing, painting, needlework and woodwork. This is a chance for people to see some of our work and watch demonstrations.
"We all met at mid Cheshire College and decided to carry on as a group."
Carol and her family have been raising money for the hospice since her sister Jennifer Dutton died there five years ago.
Her son Oliver cycled to Blackpool and back with eight friends and raised £3,000.
A similar open art day last year raised £350.
"People can come in and have a cup of tea or coffee and some cake. I will be selling scarves, some other artists will have various things for sale and there will be a cake stall and a tombola."
Admission is free.
