HUNDREDS of residents packed out Church Square today as The One Show's Rickshaw Challenge in aid of Children in Need rode through the town centre.
Presenter Matt Baker led the team of six young riders, all of whom have been supported by Children in Need-funded projects, on the eight-day 423-mile challenge, which kicked off in Calais last Friday and concludes in Salford tonight during the Children in Need appeal show.
Saints' Kyle Amor gifted Matt a signed Saints shirt as a thanks for the hard work from the town, alongside the rest of the team, who kept the crowd entertained while they were waiting, alongside Mascot Boots and Pudsey.
Groups, nurseries, colleges and businesses came dressed up for the event, with many donning their Pudsey ears.
This year's rickshaw has been built by McLaren and is more accessible to pedal.
