VISITORS to this year’s Knutsford’s Christmas markets will be able to park their car at Booths Hall and catch a bus to town to enjoy a hassle-free weekend of Christmas shopping.
This year the markets take place on Saturday, December 1 from midday to 7pm and Sunday, December 2 from 11am to 4pm.
Each year the markets have grown in popularity, with visitors coming from across the north west and beyond.
The Park and Ride scheme will operate from Booths Hall Car Park C, WA16 8GS, which will be signposted along the way, to Knutsford Bus Station, near the start of the market.
Booths Hall Car Park will be fully secure with Bruntwoods security staff, and there will be no charge for the service.
However, volunteers from the Cheshire Badger Vaccination Programme will be assisting shoppers who are visiting the markets and collecting donations. There will also be ample spaces for coaches to park in Car Park 5.
Sandra Curties, town centre manager, said: “We are delighted to be able to use Booths Hall over the Christmas market weekend, and we urge visitors to make use of this option.”
