WIMBOLDSLEY Primary School came together to create a waterfall of poppies as a mark of remembrance.
The tribute to those who gave their lives for the war effort can be seen in the school entrance and the poppies were created by staff, pupils and parents.
The poppies were cut from plastic bottles and painted.
The school also had a life size cut out of a First World War soldier in full uniform who happened to be the great uncle of a teacher in Wimboldsley
Janet Clarke, higher level teaching assistant and the great niece of the solider, said: “Fred Burgess was 19 when he joined the war and we got the cut out to show the children how young some of the soldier fighting were.
“We also did this to give the community something to appreciate when driving past the school.
