FIRE crews from Lymm and Runcorn helped rescue a horse which got stuck in the mud last night, Monday.
At 5.30pm firefighters were called to five-year-old Harley in a brook in Dutton.
After it was sedated by the vet, crews released the horse's legs before placing it up the embankment.
Firefighters then handed it over to the care of its owner and the vet.
