A SQUADRON of air cadets have been thanked for their Poppy Appeal efforts in the run-up to Remembrance Sunday.
Cadets from 146 Squadron in Northwich helped launch the appeal at the end of October and have been collecting ahead of centenary commemoration events on Sunday, November 11.
This year, marking 100 years since the end of the First World War, the Royal British Legion Northwich branch is aiming to exceed last year’s Poppy Appeal total of more than £37,000.
If you could lend a hand in the final push by collecting for the appeal, contact Terry Gamble from the Northwich branch on 07707 606031.
