ORGANISATIONS in Barnton are invited to apply for grant funding.
Barnton Parish Council is launching its grants scheme for 2019-2020, and is inviting applications until February 1, 2019.
The scheme is open to community groups, voluntary organisations and clubs that make a difference to the community in the village.
Parish council clerk Toni Critchlow said: “The over-arching aim of this scheme is to help support village-based organisations deliver social, cultural, environmental and recreational activities that will directly benefit the village and its community.”
Grants cannot be awarded retrospectively, to individuals, or more than once to any one organisation in the same financial year.
“When processing applications, the parish council will give due regard to current equalities legislation,” Toni added.
“Assessment of applications will be fair, open and transparent.”
To apply for a grant from the council, request an application form from Toni by emailing barntonpc@gmail.com or by visiting the clerk’s office, in The Bungalow, Rosebank School.
