ENGINEERS are expecting power to be restored in all areas of Northwich by 4pm today, Wednesday.
The powercut has affected residents with CW9 postcodes from around 1.50pm.
An SP Energy Networks spokesman said the 'unplanned power cut' had been caused by a network fault.
They said: "Our control centre will attempt to reset the network remotely and we will also send our next available engineer to investigate and repair the fault.
"We expect power to be back on by 4pm and will make every effort to contact you if the situation changes.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
