WITH the clocks turned back, the temperature dropping and leaves scattering the floor, Autumn is now officially in full swing.
A popular season for lovers of the great outdoors, Cheshire residents are spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding where to explore next.
Walkers around the Northwich and Knutsford area who take advantage of the rural landscape will be treated some beautifully scenic routes to explore during this time of year.
But none more so than the grounds of Arley Hall and Gardens.
Among the finest in Europe, the Gardens have been created over the past 250 years by successive generations of the same family.
They offer an unusual blend of long history and traditional design with inspired modern ideas and additions. The result is a garden rich in atmosphere, interest and vitality.
During the October and November months, Arley Hall and Gardens is transformed into a sea of warm orange and red colours and is open each day between 10am and 4pm for anyone wanting to enjoy an autumnal walk.
