THE County High School Leftwich has welcomed back its ‘Class of 2018’ to celebrate their GCSE achievements.
Parents, governors and staff gathered at the academy for the ceremony on Thursday, October 18.
Principal Julie Brandreth spoke to students about the power of strong teamwork, while guest of honour Nichola Newton – principal and CEO of Warrington and Vale Royal College – offered six pieces of advice for a happy and successful life.
Mrs Brandreth said: “It was a deservedly happy occasion, enjoyed by many parents, governors, staff and loyal friends of the school.”
Following the exams in the summer, 99 per cent of students left with at least five GCSEs, while the school surpassed west Cheshire averages in all key measuring criteria.
