THE award-winning Kingsley Players return to the stage this month with a special stage adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.
The famous Jane Austen novel will be recreated at Kingsley Community Centre from Wednesday, October17 to Saturday, October 20.
Mr Darcy (Brandon Chadwick) woos Elizabeth Bennet (Laura Bason) with encouragement of Mr and Mrs Bennet, played by Kingsley stalwarts Malcolm Barker and Sue Elliott.
Kelly White, making her directorial debut in Kingsley, said: “You don’t often see it on stage so I was over the moon to find this production that stays true to Austen’s use of language. Audiences never tire of watching Darcy and Elizabeth fall in love and I am sure they will enjoy it this time too.”
Pride and Prejudice will play for four performances October 17 to 20, 7.30pm. Tickets £8, £5 concessions on Wednesday and Thursday.
