FIREFIGHTERS evacuated homes as they tackled a shed fire in Northwich this morning, Wednesday.
Crews from Northwich and Winsford were called to Waterloo Road, near Castle Post Office, at 8.17am.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Fire crews tackled a blaze in a shed on Waterloo Road, Northwich.
"Crews, two wearing breathing apparatus, used a covering jet and a hose reel jet to fight the fire.
"Crews also removed large amounts of wood from the back of the property and, as a precaution, two properties were evacuated."
