Cheshire College - South & West courses celebrated outstanding successes in today’s A Level and AS Level results, marking yet another year of excellent academic and personal achievements for students at the College, with an overall pass rate of 99.7% - over 2% above the national pass rate.

Exceptional results were achieved across all subjects, especially in Archaeology, Geology and German with 100% of students achieving A*, A, or B grades. Overall 87.7% of students achieved grades A*-C, an increase of 5.6% from 2016/17.

Many students have gone on to secure places at the country’s top universities, including, University of Cambridge, University of Warwick, University or Manchester, University of Bristol, University of York and University College London.

AS Level students also performed exceptionally, with an overall pass rate of 90%, which is an increase from last year’s 89%. Subjects such as English Language, Further Mathematics, Art and Design and Geology were just a few of the stand-out subjects, achieving 100% pass rate.
