POLICE have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to in connection with thefts from the St Luke's Hospice Furniture Warehouse.

At around 1.30pm on Sunday, August 5, two men went to St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice’s furniture warehouse in Pineapple Park, Winsford Industrial Estate, in a silver Ford Transit van and stole a hose reel.

Approximately three-and-a-half hours later a white Ford Transit van turned up at the location and the two men inside siphoned a large quantity of diesel from the hospice’s double-decker London bus that is used for fundraising purposes.

Enquiries into the incidents are ongoing.

They are urging anyone who recognises either of the men or thinks they may know who they are to get in touch.

PC Dan Lee said: “St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice offers a wide range of services to support people living with life-limiting illnesses in mid and south Cheshire. To steal from such a charity beggars belief.

“We are fully focused on trying to catch the offenders and bring them to justice.

“Enquiries are ongoing and we believe the two men in the CCTV images may have important information to aid our investigation.

“If you think you recognise them or know who they are please call Cheshire Constabulary on 101, quoting IML 149255, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

“We would also like to appeal directly to the men in the CCTV images to contact us.”
