NORTHWICH Fire Station is opening its doors to the public for a free day of family fun this weekend.
The station in Braddon Close will host an open day from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, August 11.
A range of activities offering fun for all the family will be on offer, from displays and the chance to look around fire vehicles, to a smoke tent and climbing wall.
Station manager Paul Watts said: "This is a great way for the community to discover more about their local fire station and learn about some of the work we undertake.
“The team will be doing operational demonstrations throughout the day and there will also be the kitchen safety vehicle and a road traffic collision demonstration to keep visitors entertained, plus much more.
“We would like as many people as possible to come along to the open day, have a great time and leave with some vital safety messages.”
