Main Road in Moulton will be resurfaced in August
MAIN Road in Moulton will be closed for eight days later this month to allow for resurfacing works.
The road will be closed between The Hollies and the park access road from Monday, August 13.
As well as Main Road itself, all junctions to side streets within the closure will also be blocked off.
Cheshire West and Chester Council’s highways team will carry out the repairs to the road, which has been cited as the most-complained about in the borough.
Previous plans to undertake the work across five days from July 23 were postponed a week before it was set to begin.
An official diversion route will be signed, leading motorists along Jack Lane, Niddries Lane, Park Lane and Whitlow Lane.
