FIREFIGHTERS were called to a grass fire in Pennys Lane, Rudheath, which is believed to have been started deliberately.
One fire engine from Northwich was called to the scene at 19:34 yesterday, Wednesday, where the fire was approximately 60 square metres and well alight on arrival.
They used two hose reel jets to put out the fire.
Anyone with information about the incident should call Cheshire Police on 101.
