FIREFIGHTERS freed a person trapped inside a car in the early hours of the morning following a serious collision.
The incident, in Nantwich Road, was reported to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service at 0:20am last night, Sunday.
One fire engine attended from Middlewich, one from Winsford and one from Crewe, as well as the major rescue unit, were called to help free a person who was trapped inside a car.
Officers worked with the other emergency services to free the casualty who was taken to hospital for further treatment.
Crews were on scene for a total of one hour and 40 minutes.
