FIREFIGHTERS are currently tackling a grass fire in Cuddington.
Shortly after 11am, firefighters were called to reports of a fire in a field of Kennel Lane in Cuddington.
On arrival crews found approximately 200 square metres of trees and grass which was well alight. The team used two hose reel jets and beater to tackle the fire.
At 1pm the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service issued an update saying that the fire has been reduced to approximately 80 square metres.
Only two fire engines are on the scene currently.
