A MAN was taken to hospital last night after a crash in a country lane in the area between Winsford and Middlewich.
The crash, which involved just one car, happened at around 7.40pm yesterday.
Firefighters from Winsford and Middlewich were sent to the scene and had to remove the door of the car to free the driver.
Paramedics then took the man to Leighton Hospital.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said: “We got a call at 7.41pm to attend a road traffic collision in the Middlewich Area. We helped a man in his mid 30s and took him to Leighton Hospital to be treated for minor head and chest injuries.”
