At around 11.15pm firefighters were called to a report of a fire at a farm on Bradwall Road in Middlewich.
On arrival the crew discovered a tractor on fire away from the farm's buildings.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
The crew then damped the area down to make it safe.
As a precaution, firefighters administered oxygen to a female suffering slight effects of smoke inhalation as a result of the fire. It was deemed that an ambulance was not required.
Firefighters were in attendance for around 50 minutes.
