A NURSERY in Rudheath held its own wedding celebrations to mirror the Royal Wedding which took place the previous weekend.
On Tuesday, May 22, children at Chrysalis Day Nursey, Fraser Powell and Sofia Spencer, were Rudheath’s answer to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as they tied the knot in the nursery gardens.
Yvonne Hardcastle, nursery manager, said: “We at Chrysalis wish that Harry and Megan had a wonderful day on Saturday and that they have a very happy life together.”
Fraser and Sophia took invitations around to all the nursery staff and children at Gadbrook Business Centre asking if they would attend, with a red white and blue dress code attached.
Their wedding was followed by afternoon tea in the garden with the rest of the Butterflies class.
