A HAIRDRESSERS in Northwich has been fundraising for two charities.

The staff at Fox Hairdressing, in Castle, have been raising money for St Luke’s Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.

They have raised over £1,500 through a number of different activities including ‘getting glam for the weekend’ with stylists offering wash and blow dries in return for a donation.

They have also held raffles and bake sales throughout the month along with a Spice Girls and 90s themed day on Saturday, March 17.

Matt Thomas, co-owner at Fox Hairdressing said: “We know a number of people who can’t praise St Luke’s Hospice highly enough for what they do and have done to help at such a difficult time.

“We are lucky to have St Luke’s in our local area and so it feels right to do whatever we can in our salon to show support and to raise money for them.”

Mandy Shaw, community partnerships fundraiser at St Luke’s said: “The team at Fox have certainly put lots of fun into their fundraising; they have come up with some fantastic ways to raise money for the Hospice by involving their staff and customers and we are incredibly grateful for their support.”
