FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in Middlewich Road yesterday evening, Friday.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service describe the incident as affecting a 'commercial building' in the area.
Three fire engines - two from Northwich and one from Winsford - were on the scene for almost two hours.
A spokesman said: "Shortly after 5pm firefighters from Northwich and Winsford attended reports of a commercial building fire on Middlewich Road, Northwich.
"On arrival at the scene the crews found that the fire involved a large amount of waste material which was close to the exterior wall of a commercial building.
"The team used two hose reels and thermal image camera to extinguish the fire and remained at scene for one hour and 55 minutes."
