Firefighters attend fire in Weaverham
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a hay fire near to Sandy Lane in Weaverham today.
A crew from Winsford was sent to the scene at 11.52am.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said: "One fire engine attended from Winsford Firefighters attended a fire involving a bale of hay in Northwich.
"They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames and damped down the hay to prevent further ignition."
