FIREFIGHTERS attended a blaze at a home in Northwich after a log burner got out of control.
Emergency services were called to an address in West Road at 2.40pm on Thursday.
One fire engine from Northwich and one from Winsford attended the incident.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters were called to a house on West Road, Northwich, after a log burner caught fire.
“On arrival crews found that the logs adjacent to the log burner were ablaze and the crew, two wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“Crews then cleared the property of smoke using a large fan.”
