VILLAGERS are being invited to join storyteller Emily Hennessey and renowned sitar player Sheema Mukherjee for Kali: The Story of The World’s Wildest Goddess.

The show is being performed at Wincham Community Centre on Saturday, April 7, with doors opening at 7pm and the performance starting at 7.30pm.

Kali is one of the wildest shape-shifters of all, and when an evil power spreads its clawed hands across the world Kali’s time has come.

Sheema is an internationally-renowned sitar player and composer, whose work was featured in the 2012 Olympics.

“We are delighted to be part of the Cheshire Touring Arts programme again, and are looking forward to welcoming this brilliant act to the community centre,” said Debs May.

“Please support us and this event. We are only able to host these events if our community attend. It should be a fantastic evening.”

To buy tickets or for more information contact Debs on debs.may@hotmail.com or call her on 07847 187983.

Tickets are £10, which includes a mini-selection of Indian appetisers.
