ST Nicholas High School pupils will take to the stage this week.

The Little Shop of Horrors begins its three-night run tonight at 7pm, with performances on Thursday and Friday at 7pm.

The production features around 40 students from years nine to 13.

Unlike previous years, the school has rented out the stage to help bring the show to life.

Joanna Milborne, the show’s director, said: “The show is a romantic horror about a man-eating plant.

“We have been practicing now for four months and everyone is really excited.

“They are a really talented bunch.

“It will be the same as other years, they will put on a great performance.”

Tickets cost £6.10 and can be purchased on the door. For more information call 01606 706000.
