THE Primary Schools Performance Tables have been published today and Little Leigh Primary School has topped the table in west Cheshire.
Based on SATs results, the table shows the percentage of children at each school who met the 'expected standard'.
Little Leigh Primary School came at the top of the table for all schools in the Cheshire West and Chester Council boundary, with 93 per cent of children achieving the expected standard.
The average score for schools in the local authority is 59 per cent, and the average for schools across England is 61 per cent.
There are 18 schools in the Northwich area that beat the national average.
