A GOOSE that was stuck on an island at a fishery near Nantwich has been rescued by firefighters.
Crews from Nantwich and Chester attended the incident in Coole Lane at 11.33am on Thursday, November 9.
They used a sledge to rescue the goose, which had its legs entangled in fishing line.
The goose has since been taken to Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre.
