BOROUGH chiefs have approved plans for a new, 5,500sq m warehouse to be built in Wincham.
Cheshire West and Chester Council has given Thinkprint permission for the site to be built at the New Cheshire Business Park, on land adjacent to Victoria House.
The company, which is based in Winnington, currently employs more than 50 people and is looking to expand at the Wincham site.
In its planning application, the firm said: βThe proposal will provide essential additional space to allow this successful company to expand and to create jobs and bring prosperity to the local community.β
The scheme will also include 85 car parking spaces, plus a stand for 15 bicycles.
Wincham Parish Council had opposed the scheme, on the grounds of increased traffic β with more lorries set to drive through the village to access the warehouse.
