FIREFIGHTERS were called out to two Crewe fires in little more than 45 minutes yesterday, October 16.
One fire engine from Crewe attended a small woodland fire in Delamere Street at 5.44pm, and firefighters used a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze.
Crews were then required to extinguish a fire involving wood and carpet in Chapel Lane.
One fire engine from Crewe attended the incident at 6.30pm, and firefighters used a main jet to put out the fire.
