THE Deafness Support Network is holding a dementia café in Middlewich.
You, Me and Tea, which is open to everyone living with hearing loss or memory problems, will be held in Maggie Finns Tea Garden on Wednesday, September 27.
The scheme was set up by DSN in April 2016 after research showed them that people with bad hearing were linked to early on-set dementia.
Dianne Riley, project coordinator, said: "We wanted to start the cafe in an effort to bring people together.
"We've had an excellent response to the ones in Northwich and have also had funding from Cheshire East Council to run 12 in Crewe.
"But the Middlewich cafe offers us the chance to try something different. John's tea gardens will provide a great setting and it will explore new ideas.
"I can't wait for it."
The event is also open for carers and friends and will include fun activities, afternoon tea style lunch, reminiscence therapy and much more.
To book a place contact DSN on 0333 220 5050.
It will run from 11am until 1.30pm.
The venue can be found in Canal Terrace, CW10 9RD.
