FIREFIGHTERS were called to an out of control bonfire in Lostock Green yesterday.
Fire crews were called to a property in Birches Lane at 11.39am following reports a bonfire had gone out of control.
Two fire engine from Northwich attended the incident.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fire crews were called to a bonfire in a garden which had gone out of control on Birches Lane, Lostock Green, Northwich.
“The fire had caused some damage to the cladding of a house. Crews used a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze which was approximately 30 square metres.
“Crews were detained for two hours.”
