PEOPLE interested in hearing from new Barons Quay businesses and those coming soon are invited to come to Winnington Park Recreation Club on Monday, February 6.

The club is the venue for a Special Speaker meeting organised by the Rotary Club of Northwich, which will also feature a presentation on the new DONG Energy waste treatment plant at Lostock Gralam.

“Ian Crummack will come and make a presentation to update us on the plant,” said Clive Steggel, the club’s speakers secretary.

“We will also have presentations from new businesses which have opened and are about to come into town.

“This year is looking very positive for Northwich, and these presentations will spark a lot of interest and questions for the presenters from our knowledgeable audience, so I hope people will be able to attend.”

Doors open at 11.45am, and lunch will be followed by the presentation from Mr Crummack at 1.15pm.

The Barons Quay presentations will be at 1.40pm, followed by question time from 2.15pm.

There will be a charge to cover the cost of the two-course buffet, with tea or coffee, of £8.50 per person, payable on entry.

Reservations are being accepted for the luncheon event, as the club has to provide the number of those attending to the caterers on the Friday before the event.

Please confirm via email to northwichrotaryss@hotmail.com or contact Clive Steggel or Emma Bantock on 01606 48521, and mention that you wish to book a place for the event. Please advise of any dietary requirements.

Mr Steggel added: “Our list of invitees is not limited, so if you know of any other persons who would like to attend, could you supply their details or they can contact us in the same manner.”
