NORTHWICH BID has funded 50 extra hanging baskets which will be displayed throughout the town centre, with the scope to introduce more in the upcoming years of the BID.
In addition BID has funded 12 additional railing baskets outside the Memorial Court, so that colour will be visible not only in the town centre but also on the approach and exit from Northwich.
BID has also have teamed up with Northwich Town Council, making further investments into other elements of planting around the town ensuring colour and vibrancy complements the ongoing public realm works.
Northwich BID Officer, Mark Henshaw, is delighted that the BID is able to help improve the town’s aesthetics.
He said: “It sounds silly, but something as simple as fresh, well-maintained flowers can really change someone’s views and feelings about a place, which is why we’ve committed to the additional funding.
“Make sure you keep an eye out for the planters and baskets when you are in and around the town centre.”
