MIDDLEWICH businesses are joining others from across Cheshire to support a fundraiser for a hospital charity.

South Cheshire Print and BareBones Marketing, based in Webb’s Lane and Brooks Lane, respectively, are supporting the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity by taking part in #SuperheroMC on July 1.

The day will involve dressing up as superheroes and running fundraising activities to help the Leighton Hospital-based charity, who have supplied numerous pieces of hospital equipment over the past 12 months.

Anyone can join in the challenge, with businesses, schools, groups and individuals all encouraged to take part.

Suggested activities include cake sales and sponsorships, with prizes on offer for best costume, most innovative events and most funds raised.

South Cheshire Print owner Katy O’Reagan said: “As a local company based in Middlewich, we believe that being part of the community is really important and support this local charity is part of our community participation.

“Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity does such good work to raise funds for Leighton Hospital, we are really proud to join them in their #SuperheroMC endeavour!”

Other businesses getting involved include GTEQ Solutions Ltd in Cheadle, OSBOS Ltd in Northwich, Don Alberto Italian Restaurant in Holmes Chapel, eZe-talk in Crewe.
